A. The training required of you to complete requirements for membership at Caromi Fire Department is free to you. The classes are held throughout Berkely County at all times during the year. Most often they are once or twice a week, in the evenings, so it makes it easy to fit into your schedule.
A. The minimum requirements are 20% of the calls and 50% of the training for the month, however you can commit as much time as you wish. Trainings are held Tuesday evenings, going from 6:45pm to 10:00pm, and the last Saturday of the month, starting at 9:00am.
A. The cost of your protective clothing and all gear necessary is free.
A. In order to begin volunteering at Caromi Fire Department you need to be at least 18. If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you are considered a Junior Member.
